BCCIE Summer Conference provides an essential platform for the growth of BC’s International Education sector. BCCIE’s annual conference brings together more than 400 participants from our province, across Canada and beyond our borders. The conference attracts senior leaders, researchers, practitioners, student service providers, administrators, government, NGOs, and students to explore these ideas with the aim of strengthening our work and taking steps towards advancing outstanding leadership in the fields of International Education in BC.

Shawn Silverstone is the Marketing Manager of International Education at the Coquitlam School District.
He has 12 years of experience in the public education sector working for both a post-secondary institution and two school districts.
Shawn has a wealth of experience in the development and management of overseas contracts and partnerships.
He is responsible for the research, design, implementation, and execution of these client-centric International Education Partnerships and Programs.
Shawn is also responsible for both the internal and external marketing efforts in support of an overall presence in the international education market.
He successfully continues to build and maintain relationships around the world for the Coquitlam School District.
