Karima Ramji is Manager of International Programs at University of Victoria's Co-operative Education Program and Career Services, and an Advanced Cultural Intelligence Professional. She has completed extensive work on cultural intelligence as part of the CANEU-COOP program (which won the 2016 BCCIE Outstanding Program in International Education award). This work has resulted in UVic’s Intercultural Competency Development Curriculum (ICDC) that enables students to be more effective in diverse cultural contexts, thereby enabling them to become world ready citizens. The UVic ICDC has been published in T. Bowen, T. & Drysdale, M.T.B. (Eds.), Work-integrated Learning in the 21st Century: Global Perspectives on the Future, (International Perspectives on Education and Society, V32), Bingley, UK: Emerald Publishing Limited.
