Kyra Garson

Intercultural Coordinator
Kyra Garson is a faculty member at Thompson Rivers University in the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching. She is also an intercultural trainer and researcher who has developed and delivered PD programmes to educational institutions across the Canada and internationally. Kyra’s doctoral study received the 2014 George L. Geiss Dissertation Award Canadian Society for the Study of Higher Education’s dissertation of the year award. In 2011 she received the Canadian Bureau for International Education’s Internationalization Award for her work building intercultural understanding within our increasingly diverse educational environments.
