BCCIE Summer Conference provides an essential platform for the growth of BC’s International Education sector. BCCIE’s annual conference brings together more than 400 participants from our province, across Canada and beyond our borders. The conference attracts senior leaders, researchers, practitioners, student service providers, administrators, government, NGOs, and students to explore these ideas with the aim of strengthening our work and taking steps towards advancing outstanding leadership in the fields of International Education in BC.

Joenita Paulrajan

The University of British Columbia
Joenita Paulrajan Ph.D. manages intercultural studies, diversity and inclusion programs at the UBC Continuing Studies Centre for Intercultural Communication. She is involved in program planning and implementation, curriculum design, content development and delivery, student, corporate and community training and facilitation. Prior to her appointment at UBC, she served as faculty at Azusa Pacific University, California. Her current research interests and conference presentations are in the area of intercultural studies, intercultural communication, international development, diversity, and inclusion. She is a certified Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) administrator and a member of the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research (SIETAR) BC.
