BCCIE Summer Conference provides an essential platform for the growth of BC’s International Education sector. BCCIE’s annual conference brings together more than 400 participants from our province, across Canada and beyond our borders. The conference attracts senior leaders, researchers, practitioners, student service providers, administrators, government, NGOs, and students to explore these ideas with the aim of strengthening our work and taking steps towards advancing outstanding leadership in the fields of International Education in BC.

Director, Education Extension & International Programs
Dawn Wilson currently works in a K-12 independent school as the Director of Education Extension and International Programs. She organizes all of the study abroad for domestic students, as well as customized short-term programs for visiting international students. She is a qualified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), and the Global Competencies Inventory (GCI), and she is interested in the measurement of intercultural competency. She has attended the Summer Institute for Intercultural Communication (SIIC) in Portland three times, once as a Fellow. She recently completed UBCs certificate in intercultural studies. Dawn holds a B.A. with Honours, a Post-Degree Professional Teaching Certificate (PDPP), a Certificate in Online Education, and an MBA in International Business.
