At a time of peak international demand for Canadian studies, schools are working hard to fine-tune admissions logistics. As the most widely-accepted and submitted proof of English-language proficiency, IELTS-score processing is an important element of this work. This presentation, presented by IDP:IELTS and the Coquitlam School board will focus on: 1) What factors (security and the candidate journey) have contributed to the rise in global IELTS usage 2) How the new computer-delivered IELTS test differs from the traditional paper version, how this offers additional choice for candidates while not affecting institutional admissions policies 3)How to support students and staff with required information on the test 4) Why an institution would want to consider moving to electronic (vs. paper) results 5) As an institution, what it’s like to host IELTS testing, and how that affects current and future student journeys
