Using an Intercultural Lens to Uncover Bias in Our Diverse Classrooms [Intercultural/Indigenous Stream]

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Unconscious bias is a part of the intercultural and diversity and inclusion narrative. In this session, we explore unconscious bias and how it shows up in our diverse classrooms. We invite participants to take a closer look at our default settings and resultant actions. We will identify areas of growth to move forward along with strategies to notice bias, acknowledge our filters and increase capacity to effect changes when working with diverse populations in more meaningful ways.
