Creating Networks for Faculty in International Education

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

As increasing numbers of international students seek educational experiences at BC colleges and universities, faculty are realizing the value of connecting across institutions to share experiences/best practices relating to: teaching and supporting international students, and fostering an environment that positively supports diversity and inclusion across all dimensions. In this session we will discuss existing initiatives within our respective colleges/university, and the steps we are taking to create networks across institutions. Common challenges will be discussed along with faculty-led initiatives being implemented to turn challenges into opportunities for initiating intentional practices that engage everyone in true and meaningful dialogue.
