Student Engagement in Asia: Facilitating Effective Learning

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This session will focus on outbound mobility programs to Asia, specifically how to capture student learning outcomes and how to keep students engaged and active in building their sense of global citizenship after they return to Canada. The three presenters will share examples and observations from their recent involvement in both short and long-term programs in China, India, and elsewhere in Asia. They will also talk about their insights into what is needed to build effective learning programs, especially in emerging economy contexts, and how to instill in students a sense of intentionality in how they approach the experience.
