BCCAT recently funded a national research project led by Joanne Duklas, a Canadian higher education expert, which identified and analyzed the typology of assessment practices and perspectives within Canadian colleges and universities for international assessment of academic documents related to transfer and exchange credit. Newly published, this peer-reviewed national study examined the current state at Canadian universities and colleges, the quality assurance frameworks impacting international document assessment, formal conventions such as the Lisbon Recognition Convention, and best practices evident in other jurisdictions. Join this session to learn about the findings and recommendations for next steps.
