Opportunities and Challenges of Managing Culturally Diverse Teams within IE [Intercultural/Indigenous Stream]

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The changing demographic of our international student populations have led us to change the way we provide services and support. More so now than ever before is the need for staff to have relevant intercultural skills and competencies. Often this results in hiring staff with different cultural backgrounds and language abilities. What does this mean for international education managers? How does it change the way we lead and manage? This session will engage participants in a discussion about what experiences and expertise are needed, and what resources and opportunities are available, to understand, interact with, and lead our culturally diverse teams.
