BCCIE Summer Conference provides an essential platform for the growth of BC’s International Education sector. BCCIE’s annual conference brings together more than 400 participants from our province, across Canada and beyond our borders. The conference attracts senior leaders, researchers, practitioners, student service providers, administrators, government, NGOs, and students to explore these ideas with the aim of strengthening our work and taking steps towards advancing outstanding leadership in the fields of International Education in BC.

A top priority country for Canada, India presents a dizzying array of prospects, and complexity, for those seeking to diversify their education partnerships, recruitment, and range of influence. India is a dynamic, fast-changing, and complex market partly because of its size and diversity. The presenter/s may share strategies to effectively navigate the vast diversity of India across three areas: 1) direct student recruitment 2) academic partnerships, and 3) industry/corporate training partnerships. This may involve touching upon our bilateral relationship, the current regulatory framework, and public and private initiatives for education and training.
