The OECD recently added the measurement of ‘global competency’ to its Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA). How interculturally competent are our students? The Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) assesses intercultural competence, the capability to shift cultural perspective and appropriately adapt behavior to cultural differences and commonalities. What is the IDI? How can it be used? Is it an effective tool for measuring intercultural competence? Join three qualified administrators of the IDI to hear how it is being applied in different contexts: K-12, post-secondary, and Human Resources. Learn about how it is being implemented and how it can be applied in your own context.
