Amy Lee
Simon Fraser University
International Co-op Program Coordinator
Currently as the International Co-op Coordinator at SFU, Amy has 25 plus years of experience in the areas of Human Resources, Training and Career Development. Prior to joining SFU, Amy has been with the University of Alberta (Edmonton), Community Skills Development Office (Vancouver), and the Board of Education (Shizuoka, Japan). Each of these roles have contributed to her keen interest in helping students, and in developing international relationships and partnerships. To better assist students going abroad, she has been involved in the development of an SFU Co-op online international curriculum BIL (Bridging International Learning) course that serves to support students with timely resources, information, and international work place learning modules while they are abroad. Amy has also been the past chair of the International Committee for CEWIL (Cooperative Education and Work Integrated Learning) Canada. Away from the office Amy has been involved with managing a Vancouver based Dragon boating team and various Japanese drumming groups (Katari Taiko - Vancouver and Kita No Taiko - Edmonton).
